Each Veterans Day, Cherokee FCCLA works with the Cherokee Student Council to sponsor a community-wide Veterans Day Assembly and a private luncheon for Veterans and their guests after the assembly. The luncheon is held in the Family and Consumer Sciences room and FCCLA Members provide all of the food and drinks. The number of Veterans who attend has steadily increased each year. This service project began in 2014.
