Who can join?

Any student in grades 7-12 who is currently enrolled in a family and consumer sciences class or has previously completed a family and consumer sciences course.

How?

Fill out a membership information form and pay dues to Mrs. Gottsch by September 9, 2023.

What your dues pay for:

$9 - National

$5 - State

$16 - Local

TOTAL = $30

Your dues also include a t-shirt and your registration fee for the North-1 District Meeting!

Recruitment Week

 

In August, we held an FCCLA Recruitment Week with different incentives and activities each day. We provided an informational flyer with a treat on every 7th-12th grade student's locker each day during the Recruitment Week. At the end of the week, a party was held for all students who had paid dues to become an affiliated member. The pictures below show an example of the flyers we distributed each day. We also held a Kickoff Party for all members and all students in grades 7-12 who were interested in joining FCCLA. At the party, we played kickball, provided dinner, and Scotty's Treats food truck came. FCS classes made recruitment puzzle piece posters and the posters were hung in the hallways throughout our building.
